Abstract

This study aims to develop a valid, practical, and effective teaching module using the K13 curriculum based on biopreneurship to enhance students' concept mastery, creative thinking, and entrepreneurial interest. The development of the biopreneurship-based biology teaching module follows the 4-D development model by Thiagarajan, which includes the stages of Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate. The research trial subjects were tenth-grade students at SMA Tahfiz Al-Batthawi Kerongkong, East Lombok Regency. The results of the validity test, conducted by three Biology Education experts from UNW Mataram, showed that the biopreneurship-based biology module obtained an average score of 78%, the lesson plan (RPP) scored 79%, and the student worksheet (LKPD) scored 78%, all of which are categorized as valid across all assessed aspects. The readability test using the Flesch-Kincaid analysis resulted in a score of 10.04, indicating that the module is suitable for use by tenth-grade high school students. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the Biopreneurship-Based Biology Teaching Module meets the criteria for validity in learning.
